What is Secure Aire?

  1. It is a filtration enhancement system – not a collection device
  2. It enhances the collection of very small particles (sub-micron sized). These particles are normally difficult or costly to filter out of the air. These particles include Virus, Bacteria and Mold

How does Secure Aire work?

  1. The technology in Secure Aire is called “Particle Accelerated Collision Technology” , or, P.A.C.T.
  2. PACT conditions particles (increases their electrical charge) and then accelerates the particles. This process makes the particles collide and stick together. The resulting, larger particle is much more effected by air movement and easier to collect in filters.

What does Secure Aire do?

  1. Traditional filtration systems can only collect what air blows into them. We call this “passive” collection.
  2. In order to be controlled/moved by air, a particle needs to be at least 3 – 5 microns in size. For comparison, human hair is about 10 – 15 microns in size.
  3. Over 90% of the particles floating in our air are less than 3 microns! In addition, almost 100% of Bacteria and Virus are less than 1 micron in size.
  4. This means that most of the particles we want to remove from our air are unlikely to be collected because they are not very effected by air movement. In fact, most air movement will only move small particles a few inches; not enough to get them to filters.
  5. Secure Aire uses electrical fields to control movement of particles. By increasing the electrical charge on sub-micron size particles, we can make them move miles and get them to filters.
  6. Secure Aire also encourages particle collisions. Once the particles have an increased electrical charge and then collide, they stick together and form larger particles. It is far more efficient to collect larger particles in filters.
  7. The larger particle that is created by Secure Aire acts like a magnet and attracts other small particles in our air to adsorb/absorb. This creates a proactive process that enables small particles to be enlarged and moved to filters.
  8. Secure Aire combines control of the electrical field transport mechanism with a particle collision to enhance the removal of the 90% of particles that most systems can not effect.

How is Secure Air different from other technologies?

  1. Because Secure Aire is not a filter, it does not collect particles and “get dirty”. This allows the system to work better, longer and require virtually no maintenance.
  2. Secure Aire conditions and enlarges the particles in our air thus making them more effected by air and more likely to be collected in filtration systems. We call this “Controlling the Transport Mechanism”
  3. Secure Aire can work with any filtration system. It can be paired with any filter efficiency based on the user’s requirements.

What are the benefits of Secure Aire?

  1. Secure Aire technology promotes the removal of up to 90% of the small particles like bacteria, virus, spores, pollen and mold from air making environments more healthy and productive.
  2. Secure Aire is more cost effective to operate and maintain than other technologies
  3. Secure Aire does not require expensive filters or fans to promote collection of particles.
  4. Secure Aire proactively conditions (makes particles more negative or positive) particles and then collides the particles to help them stick together. This technology enables a much greater collection of small particles compared to other systems that only catch the small number of particles that get to a filter.
