Ultima® X Series Gas Monitors |
The MSA Ultima XA is a highly
reliable system that is easy and cost effective to install and own.
Hydrogen is produced from wet
cell and some sealed cell batteries. Hydrogen is less dense than the air
we breath. Thus, it will float toward the ceiling when it is produced.
The Ultima XA is available
with a remote sensor for mounting 12’ – 18” from the ceiling. The sensor
is wired back to the XA transmitter at up to 100’.
The XA transmitter provides
for up to 3 alarm relays + 1 sensor fault relay. In addition, the device
provides for a 4-20mA output. The outputs provided can be utilized to
signal a DDC system, and/or, provide closure to a fan starter for
ventilation. (The relays on the XA are pilot duty. They are not designed
to be used as a fan starter. Contact Us
