Chillgard® RT
Refrigerant Monitor |
Meets and exceeds ASHRAE 15 guideline requirements for

UL Listed to 1 PPM. The industries first and best refrigerant
monitor when accuracy counts. Recommended for R123 applications.
R123 is more toxic to humans at lower levels. 1 PPM sensativeity is
critical!
The RT can be customized to detect 1 – 5 refrigerants without
adding additional (expensive) equipment. Perfect for applications
where multiple chillers run on different refrigerants
The RT has 3 alarm relay outputs to start exhaust systems,
warning lights, etc. The system also has a “sensor fault” relay to
monitor system performance. (Relays can be used to provide closure
to a fan starter, but, relays are not rated to perform as a fan
starter. Call EIP for more information)
For communication to DDC systems, the RT has a 4-20mA output
that can be programmed to provide a “common” alarm for all zones,
OR, zone specific readings. MSA is developing LON and BACnet
integration for all HVAC applications.
Available in 1, 4 and 8 zone “sample draw” systems.
