Chillgard® LC Control Module
Chillgard® LS Photoacoustic Infrared Refrigerant

The Chillgard LC controller is the nerve center of an ASHRAE 15
compliant refrigerant detection system. It requires no pump or
tubing – only power and communication connections to LS sensors.
Chillgard LS sensors are very stable and accurate. They can be
daisy chained back to the LC in multiple configurations. Or, the LS
can “stand alone” with a discrete 4-20mA output.
When designed with an internal power supply, the LC can power up
to 5 stand alone sensors.
The LC has 3 alarm relay outputs and 1 fault output. These
relays can be utilized to start fans, shut down critical equipment,
monitor the gas detection system performance. (Relays can be used to
provide closure to a fan starter, but, relays are not rated to
perform as a fan starter. Call EIP for more information)
For DDC interface, the LC has a 4-20mA output. MSA is developing
LON and BACnet integration for future release. |
