AirOX® Indoor Air Quality Monitor |
The AirOX Monitor continually monitors the levels of carbon dioxide
(CO2) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) for an overall indication of
Indoor Air Quality. The integral analog output can then be used to send
a signal to a ventilation control system as an indicator of the
ventilation requirements. Photoacoustic infrared sensor provides
unmatched accuracy, virtually eliminates drift and related system
performance issues.
When you click on AirOx, go to this information:
Photo-acousitc infrared sensors are extremely stable and accurate.
When utilized for Demand Control Ventilation, the AirOx out performs
the competition by delivering extremely accurate measurement of CO2,
and, drift is virtually eliminated.
What does this mean for the performance of HVAC systems? Simply, the
intent of demand control ventilation will be realized without headaches
related to sensor performance. Most failures of Demand Control
Ventilation projects result from CO2 sensors that are not accurate, or,
that drift to become more sensitive. The end result is that over
ventilation occurs.
The cost of addressing HVAC system performance or sensor calibration
will typically far exceed the premium of selecting reliable sensors for
the project. |
