Model STx104 Transmitter / Sensor Probes

Economy Measurement for Ducts, Plenums, or Fan Inlets

The Advantage Silver Series STA104 transmitter and sensor probes use the same advanced sensor technology as our top-of-the-line Gold Series product. Cost saving is realized from simplified product features and lower sensor density on some models.

The Silver Series is ideal for contractors. It is competitively priced with lesser quality pneumatic systems and “percent of reading” accuracy assures reliable and repeatable measurement throughout the entire range of airflow and temperature.

Each system has field selectable, isolated 4-20mA and 0-10 VDC output signals for airflow and temperature. Output scales are easily configured by DIP switches on the STA104 transmitter.

Every EBTRON is a complete, factory tested system that does not require additional transmitters or transducers to provide the host B.A.S. with linear signals for both airflow and temperature. STx104-P

Economy Airflow / Temperature Measurement

Ideal for the direct measurement of outside air intakes as well as airflow measurement in ducts and plenums. The STA104-P is EBTRON’s economy airflow measurement system. Flexible mounting options simplify installation. When installed in accordance to published guidelines, accurate and repeatable measurement necessary for most HVAC applications can be achieved.

STx104-F

Fan Inlet Airflow / Temperature Measurement

Accurate and repeatable fan inlet measurement, ideal for fan tracking. The streamline design of the STA104-F does not significantly degrade fan performance or increase sound levels. Available in five standard sizes with adjustable mounting brackets to simplify ordering and installation.

STx104-U

Airflow Measurement for Unit Ventilators

The STA104-U uses two independent sensing probes and is ideal for the direct measurement of outdoor air intake flow rates for dilution air control at unit ventilators and for ASHRAE 62-1999 compliance. Sensor probes can be located immediately upstream of intake dampers and a special internal bracket that allows for the direct mounting to the intake damper frame when there is no ductwork immediately upstream.

STx102-B

“Bleed” Airflow / Pressure Measurement

Determine ultra-low differential pressure by measuring the bleed airflow between two spaces or across obstructions. The STx102-B is well suited for building and space pressure applications. Additional applications include the direct measurement of outside airflow by measuring the bleed airflow across an intake louver. The device can also be used to create a precise electronic gravity damper.

STx102-T

Precision VAV Box Airflow Measurement

Accurate and repeatable measurement for VAV boxes. Ideal for non-corrosive laboratory, hospital or clean room applications. Use with outside duct and plenum probes to dynamically reset outside airflow setpoints in accordance with the multi-space equation of ASHRAE Standard 62-1999.
